Anybody up for a random meme dump?

There were no apparent issues. It was uneventful. Reckon a good test if the motor mounts. Editing to say, I'm fairly confident I didn't add supports anywhere. It's a couple years back, memory gets fuzzy on details. 😁

Anybody up for a random meme dump?

Did almost exactly that when I did my clutch. Used sandpaper and then one of those 3M scotchbrite (I think?) pads by hand. Tim

Teraflex Long Control Arm Joint Options?

Strictly my opinion here: the spiral retaining ring has better holding power, just due to 360 degree lip it creates. I've not yet encountered one of these failing, vs typical snap rings that I've seen overpowered to failure. The spiral ring can be removed/installed with a simple flat...

Teraflex Long Control Arm Joint Options?

Looks like spiral retaining ring. A screwdriver and choice language should remove that in second. https://www.rotorclip.com/post/product_type/spiral-rings/ There's the picture source. Tim

Floating RPMs (not really sure how to title this)

My .02: Always do cheap and easy first: - check for sticky throttle plate, linkage, cable, peddle. - search for vacuum leaks. - check and clean the IAC. There are write ups here doing a better job explaining than I would do so I'll stop here. Tim

    Serpentine belt part number?

My '05 just received this ac delete belt modification. I used: Gates 060750 From rockauto. If it matters, I replaced the idler and tensioner at the same time. Hope that helps. Tim

Where can I buy the most reliable aftermarket camshaft position sensor?

Um, allowing for the idea that I may be even more clueless than I thought, doesn't the cam spin at half the crank speed? Tim

Is a new engine my best route? Quoted 4K for my engine repair

My .02 cents: If truly 0 psi compression on 3, based on the information shared, it's not the head gasket. If the cylinder had compression with a bad head gasket, wouldn't it show up in the radiator or adjoining cylinder? Or audibly exterior of the engine. To my mind, it must be a stuck...
