Do it, I did that. I noticed my weld was starting to rip off. Grinded it down and reweld it along with angle bracket down the side and across the tube into the spring perch. Its held up for awhile now

Has anyone ran this set up Undercover fab aluminum nobody lift skid, plus there trans mount. Trans mount is 1” less then stock, so hoping with this set up i dont actually raise the drivetrain (also no body lift) 2003 rubicon

I run a 4” currie lift with 35s , no body lift Works perfect, its already too tall. If I ever go the body lift route id want to lower it to a 3” spring and the 1.25 body lift
