    No bus link

Awesome Thanks. Sadly I'm heading out the road again tomorrow for 5 days, so I won't be able to ge to it until next week, but this will definitely give me something to narrow down the issue.

    No bus link

Well, upon further investigation. The instrument cluster came back to life, but still, won't start. So I double checked the connectors going into the PCM and the far right one looking at it from the front, when I wiggle the connector I hear loud clicking sounds from near the distributor or...

    No bus link

So, the Jeep died and later restarted. Got fooled once and drove it again and it died and wouldn't restart this time. Had it towed home to diagnose and found the instrument cluster dead. Plugged in the OBD reader and got "no link", then got "No Bus" on the odometer. So did a little digging...

I'll try and make the feet over inches edit thanks LOL!. Made a couple rookie mistakes. But will try and get some pics for the post and educate myself.

New to Jeep and have suspension question

I'll make the edit😎 Yes! I made a rookie mistake. I obviously misread a post somewhere, that said to measure the spring height while the weight was on the springs and therefore I got a measurement that was close enough to "stock" height. The other rookie mistake is that on previous vehicles...

New to Jeep and have suspension question

So, moving along the path of diagnose, I intended to just go ahead a replace the springs front and rear and that way all 4 corners were new springs and shocks. So today I pull the first front spring out and wadda ya know!!! the spring is almost 3' taller than the stock ones I purchased. So it...

    Ideal temperature for the 4.0?

So I've only had my TJ for a few weeks and only driven it a handful of times, but I noticed recently, that first thing in the morning when engine is over night cooled, the temp gauges shoots right up to 210 on the gauge within 2-3 mins of driving and pegs 210 for the rest of the day. I've never...

    A-pillar bolt thread size?

Took the mirror brackets off on the A-pillar and they are definitely worse for the wear. So I don't spend all day at the auto store, does anyone know the thread pitch/ size of these bolts.

Thanks for the input folks. Sounds like I'm looking at doing some investigating into the sway bar bushings and possibly a new set of springs. Will follow up once I have done the changes.
