    Currie steering question

Haven't measured caster. A few degrees wouldn't be enough to make clearance. If a pulled the axle back much my upper and lower bump stops will miss each other completely.

    Currie steering question

I've cycled it without the springs. No other interference except this when the right side is at droop.

    Currie steering question

So I shouldn't worry about it? I could see a situation where that happens but not frequently.

The zerk is pointed to the ground.

    Currie steering question

Shocks installed, the drag link end still contacts the sway bar mount at full droop with the wheel cranked all the way right.

    Currie steering question

Flipping the pin does help the clearance issue but puts the link at a considerable angle. Not sure if it's OK to run it like that.

    Currie steering question

Understood. Shocks not in yet which will obviously limit droop. I'll check it again with the shocks in.

    Currie steering question

Currie tie rod is contacting the jks sway bar link mount on down travel. Is there a common fix for this? Seems like it would be a common problem but I can't find much searching the forum. Am I missing something?

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

That's great! I'd be inclined to take all the parts you have not knowing exactly what I need until I can tear it apart. Just PM me and let me know what you want for everything and we can arrange payment and shipping. Thanks again, I really appreciate your effort to help me out.

mrblaine, I see that you are very close to me here in riverside county. I'm guessing you might be able to recommend someone I can trust for fabrication, installation, and /or tuning.

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

Awesome! Sounds right. I honestly don't know what condition the internals are in. I haven't disassembled them yet. Hell I can't even get the bolts out of a couple of them. I would assume I would need all the parts necessary to rebuild or replace them.

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

I have flex joints at both end on the rear uppers. I was able to get the bushings for the axle side of the lowers from RE.

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

I'm still here. I just have a life outside of my jeep... unlike some of you...lol

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

So it's not feasible to run coilovers on factory width axles? I can also admit that I am pretty ignorant when it comes to understanding suspension geometry and shock tuning.

    Rubicon Express Long Arm Replacement?

I believe the bushing are the MTPEG ones. They have an hour glass shape. Like I said the flex joints are all shot, some with the bolts sheared and seized in the sleeves. I'll admit I never made much effort to maintain them.
