For some reason the vibration got exponentially worse after putting the aluminum skid plate on and I’m not sure why. I got the missing hardware from Savvy and put the skid plate in for a trip this weekend to Shuteye pass. If I need to pull it to reweld the trans mount it shouldn’t be a big deal. Changed out the transfer case & transmission fluid to MTL. Neither were low, though there was some metallic residue...

Looks like it is from the transmission. I think the previous owner put engine oil in the trans, it feels like regular 30w and is a golden color. It’s not engine oil as the oil in the engine is much darker right now, unknown miles since last oil change.

Here? Whoever welded, it staggered the welds to either side, but it is pretty much welded all the way. I tried to get a photo showing both sides.
