Pet peeves with your TJ that you choose to live with

The first 2 speeds on my air conditioning fan don't work. I like to think glass half full so I'm thankful the other 2 speeds do work (y)

I'm always looking to strike a balance between price and performance. So far I'm happy with my decision. Going to challenge the jeep again this weekend on some semi-difficult trails. I'll report back how it does.

I never had the impression you were diss'ing on my build. The fact is both the JKS 3" springs and the Rancho adjustable control arms with the D2 bushing were hard to find feedback on here which was part of the reason I bought them so I could provide feedback to the forum. My feedback will...

Your spot on with your observations and your concerns. My upper coils are tight but are active and not bound. If I added weight it might not be so active anymore. Just based on research before buying I noticed 2 schools of thought, one was to provide a true dual rate experience and the other was...

I'm happy to share all my experiences and feedback with them. It's unfortunate my only way to gauge performance is my butt dyno against the stock feel. The Jeep is pretty light with the soft top and no aftermarket bumpers yet so if I add weight to the setup I'll be glad to take a tape measure...

Awesome advise and good eye. I do have tow mounts attached to the frame that we placed by the previous owner. My thought has been to go with D-Ring adapters when I choose a bumper. Thanks for the pic.

Funny story, I haven't set the Jeep up for Toad duty yet even though that was a big reason for buying it. My wife had to drive the Jeep out behind me in the Motorhome. If you have any recommendations I'm open to listening!!!

I'll look into the rock sliders you mention. As of now I'm not leaning any direction brand wise so I'm open to anything. As for the SYE, the TJ Rubicon came stock from the factory without slip yokes so I lucked out there. I did install a Tom Woods rear driveshaft so no vibrations in my setup:D

    Upgrading my 2006 Silver Rubicon

So yes the fold and tumble feature of the passenger seat does hit my radio which I didn't think about when installing it. I have a 6 y.o. daughter who uses the backseat every time we go out. I got lucky however that the seat just bumps the bottom side of the Radio and doesn't seem like it will...

    Upgrading my 2006 Silver Rubicon

So when I first got my Jeep and wanted to go on some Jeep Club runs one of the must have requirements was a CB Radio. Since I didn't have a lot of time before the first run and I was new to the Jeep scene I ordered a Cobra HH50WXST from Amazon so I was allowed to do the run. What I quickly found...

Thanks for following the build and thanks for the compliments. At this point the number one item on the upgrade list is probably replacing the nerf bar steps over to some better/true rock sliders. After that I will look to upgrade the the front and rear bumpers. Once I finally change out the...

Thanks, I was going for that matched look and it came out looking real sharp. I was thinking of adding blue accents to the Jeep but then thought better of it and stuck with using just the silver and black accents from the Mirada on the Jeep Build.

    Upgrading my 2006 Silver Rubicon

Needed 3 inches, I tried 2 inches but had to add more. The front tucks up into the fender real nice without rubbing now.

Close to where we were camping is the Truck Haven 4x4 training center. I was able to play on the obstacles and see what the jeep could do.

Just got back from a long weekend camping at Borrego Springs in the Anza Borrego Desert. With all the rain SoCal has received this year the desert is experiencing another "Super Bloom". I was able to go out with both Jeep Clubs I'm in while out there and got my first real chance to put the jeep...
