I took the front drive shaft out and the u joint noise is gone…. I replaced the transmission mount also….. but the nuts that go on the mount didn’t line up like they did when the other mount was on there…. I’m hoping the angle is right for the rear drive shaft…. Im assuming that something...

I got a new transmission mount and put it on yesterday…. However…. My jeep is still making a noise…. To me it sounds like it’s one or both u joints on the front DS…. There’s a vibration when I let out the clutch to take off…. I just wonder if the angle on the DS (one or both) might not be...

Thank you so much!!! I rebuilt the cardan u joint myself…. I put it back in yesterday… to take the whole drive shaft out and put it back in I had to drop the skid plate, which I absolutely didn’t want to do but had to…. Well I drove it after I got the front DS in and something just ain’t...

So I’m having trouble getting the bolts broke loose on the part that connects to the flange on the transfer case… The hole in the skid plate don’t exactly line up with where the bolts are… I put an 8mm 6 point wrench on it and it was too big so I put a 12 point 5/16 on it and it’s not a very...

Also… can any body tell me what kind of bolts (size wise) go back by the cardan U joint? I want to get new ones just in case the ones of my jeep break…

The sticker on my DS has the number P52098377AE Can anybody confirm that the measurement of the shaft is 41 inches?? A friend of mine might have a DS but I need to confirm the measurement… from what I have seen it’s 41 inches, is that right?
