I can confirm this. You will need to reverse one of the bolts in the rear only for clearance but it uses the same hardware and mounting holes.

I had a brother in law bring one to a 1 car uninsulated garage and it got over 80 in there. It was below zero outside and I was down to a t-shirt eventually. I believe the one we used was smaller than that one too.

That $89 in 1955 would be over $1000 adjusted for inflation today. And that is new...doesn't even take into account the nostalgia and fact that you probably can hardly find them anymore. I think its cool. maybe get it restored. Looks cool as hell.

That anti rock also has overspray

Looks like overspray black paint on the shocks. Not a good sign but might just be touch up. I know I do this for maintenance but I mask things off

with a little squirt of flat black spray paint it becomes nearly identical. any idea which screws you started with? I realize its a bit of a long shot being this post is 5 years old.

I can confirm that as the original owner of my Light Khaki Metallic Rubicon, my airbag is painted from the factory a khaki color to match the other plastic dash parts. I scratched it years ago and it was black underneath. now having the sticky issue.

At what point is it no longer a Jeep? Grill? Who knows.

Sorry for the very late response. I was out for some extended medical issues at the time of your post and never replied. I did not run my wires through the factory plastic loom. I ran along side them in the tub. In the dash loom I did a mix of taking some factory loom apart and running along...

I found this video very helpful for what is true and what is myth on torque wrenches. Especially found value in Myth 9 on Anti-seize. (spoiler alert, don't use it for torque specs without cutting that torque spec in half)

I think so. The straps hold the rear soft top bar in place. It looks like your passenger strap is broken and not supporting the bar.

Out of curiosity and Bestop doesn't sell Dark Khaki color anymore.
