    How do I remove factory skid plate spinning bolt inserts?

    How'd you cut them off? It looks like I'll have to grind or torch one from the bottom. I can't get a gap between the frame and the pan.

    The problem is that my result is 4 inches of lift. I'll have to learn to live with that. I'm sure it's because the new ones are made of heavier wire. .583" vs .5". And 24 years younger. Thanks.

    They're 3 inches longer front and back. What's causing the extra lift is that the new springs are significantly heavier than the originals so they don't compress much under the weight of the jeep. Thanks.

    No extra weight. Just stock with a hardtop. Maybe down the road I'll add heavier bumpers and accessory holders

    Just finished installing a 3" BDS list on my. 02 TJ. Does anyone know if the springs will relax after a little use. I ended up with 4" +. Way more lift than I was after.
