    Correct ring gear?

that was the fault of the seller, who assured me the kit was what i needed and would fit. he was just working off what i told him, based on what the seller told me. not his fault. he didn't order the parts. i did. that was the point of the entire thread. i ordered the wrong gear set, based on...

    Correct ring gear?

Just heard back from Motive Gear, there's no difference between the pinion in the thick gear set they sell and the standard gear set they sell. a 4.56 pinion for a Dana 44 is a 4.56 pinion for a Dana 44. So all we have to do is bolt the ring gear to the diff and put everything back together.

    Are 2003 seats compatible in a 1998?

if you try to put the 03 seats on a 98 base, it wont work. as long as the base and the seats are from the same generation of tj interior, you'll be fine. they didn't alter the bolt pattern on the floor boards. just the seats and bases, themselves.

    Correct ring gear?

I have a guy doing the work. we just got everything installed and discovered the ring gear is too thick, so i ordered what i hope is the correct ring gear. all we should need to do at this point is have the bearing pressed onto the pinion, bolt the ring gear to the limited slip diff and put it...

    Correct ring gear?

Awesome. Groovy. Would you happen to know if I will need to pull the already installed pinion out or if the pinion is the same regardless of whether or not your ring gear is thick or standard?

    Are 2003 seats compatible in a 1998?

as long as you have the bases attached to the seats, they will fit. you can't put seats or bases from a 97-02 with seats or bases from an 03+ found this out the expensive way.

    Correct ring gear?

Does anyone know what 4.56 ring gear fits a TJ wrangler with an Eaton limited slip differential? non rubicon dana 44 rear axle. I ordered one that is about 3/8 of an inch too thick and need the correct one to get back on the trails.

    Tail Light Wiring?

sorry i don't remember... all i can say for sure is that, for some reason, my wires' colors did not match the factory wire setup, at all, so any advice i could give would be pointless, anyway.

    Tail Light Wiring?

i do not have a test light. i had to trial and error the hell out of it til i got it right, but the driver's side is done. just gotta finish the passenger side and all done.

    Tail Light Wiring?

also, the harness the wires feed into isn't a square with 4 wires on each corner, its flat with all the wires lined up in a row with one open, there being only 3 wires. don't know if that helps.
