Wondering about the 2nd relay and the need for it. If all we're doing is interrupting the power in the 106 line wouldn't the original relay manage the original function?

G'Day all just short of a month of daily driver on my FS1 PCM and I have had zero issues. Throttle response is much better and with that the Jeep tends to use more fuel when getting on it!

Update on my PCM from FS1 gas mileage has come back to "normal". Running 33's, heavy duty shafts from Tom Woods, over size drive shafts I'm back to high 15's and have much better throttle response and overall perf has improved! So ya I'd purchase from the again.

I have a FS1 PCM for my 1998 TJ with a manual trans and have zero issues and the customer server dept was great. When i purchased my PCM they said they some "on the shelf", later that week I was contacted and told the ones they had failed to pass reprogramming. I had to wait an extra week before...

Update on my PCM no issues at all, seems to use a little more fuel than before. On the plus side I seem to have more power in general... so i guess it makes sense more power more fuel used.

At the 500 mile mark for my FS1 PCM and no issues to report. The motor runs smoother than ever before (of course the ignition\fuel system had issues other than the PCM). Did some snow wheeling this weekend in support of the local Forest Service and had a blast with it running so well!

UPDATE: Success! I decided there was very few items I hadn't replaced coil, dist sensor and crank sensor. So I picked them up along with the recommended plug from the plugs thread. decided to start with the easiest replacement... coil and HELLO! mis-fire gone!! Guess the old one was marginal at...

So this morning I bite the bullet, pick up a new dist sensor, crank sensor, coil and new plugs (based on the plug thread you guys have). figured I'd start with the easiest coil is right there and HELLO the mis-fire on low RPMs is gone. Motor sounds and runs better than ever!! Check back on the...

Just noticed your post... LOL at 8:42 AM yesterday I hadn't received my PCM... the posts show you started my engine stutters post... yer system time must be off!

Not very many it was within the first 5 miles. :( I have several stop lights along the way to the hi-way and it was probably the 4th one.

Here's the issue from the top. 1998 TJ Sahara has always run strong for the last 2 years zero problems with 135,000 miles. Fix one thing break 2! I decided to go to the Dakota steering gear "update" and used the motor to bleed the power steering fluid. So lots of cranks with the coil...

Received my PCM this evening, was well packed as 1515Art described his PCM. Pins and case were all in good shape. Once installed the jeep fired right up, idle was much smoother. Let it run for 5 minutes, shut it off made sure to calibrate the TSP and fired her back up drove out to the hi-way 10...
