    I didn’t put anything on the oil pan,I used a piece of pipe,in a floor jack placed on various places on the block,not a hard job at all when I did my motor mount lift.

    My dads grand Cherokee did this last month,test light lit up at the starter but wouldn’t crank,grabbed the hammer out of the tj and it fired right up,so off to O’Reilly we went.

    The hammer trick,I bet you have a bad starter,or u unstuck it and it will be fine.

    Yep,don’t spend a dime on that head,but ya,I would do a combustion gas test and if it’s good,send it.

    With that 2001 head,I would definitely be finding a tupy or Clearwater head to replace it.

    Stripped out Torx bolts for Flux Offroad Light mounts

    Yep,I hold a box end wrench over the screw,and heat in the hole with a small torch.
