Have you fixed the issue yet? What did you replace?

I just did mine yesterday. You can still get the gasket at Oriley's. Next day. I used Red RTV silicon gasket maker. Working well so far.

I did not see where you checked for spark coming out of the distributor. A bad crankshaft position sensor will crank but not start. No fuel-to-fuel rail?

One of the best videos I have found on how to change your OPDA on the older models. 2000-2004. I changed mine today went with the Crown: P/N: CWA-530106151b from Summit racing. and a High Standard Ignition PC 380 camshaft sensor from Oriley's. I have a NTK sensor on the way just in case.

Have you checked the condition of your spark plugs yet. I have an o4 that was getting about 11MPG when I first bought it. I checked the plugs, Autolite and they were new, but gapped on .058. I put NGK back in and gapped on .035. Was getting 14/15 (highway). Should be a sticker under the hood on...

Some things are better left to the professionals. I do not like removing coil springs for any reason.
