Yes you are correct. The door swings naturally. But if buying new hinges would fix the problem then heck yeah. I just think I need to know if I should replace the hingesand then add an extended to the mount, or just buy a whole new upgraded door and everything together

I read about those. Think they hold it from closing rather than stopping it from swinging open too far. Theres literally nothing to stopnit than the tail light. The problem w the spare mount extender is I dont want the tire to free float. I thought it needed to be shut tight against the bumpers.

i think the hinge used to have a stopper in there and it broke off over time. but aside from the hinge, i dont know what to do about the tire carrier.
