Well, it still seemed to allow some slight movement, so I used a washer as a shim to remove the play... I am wondering if that is going to cause problems?

Oh, that makes sense... I have a centered, fixed, washer in there with my long arm kit. I assume since they are double adjustable arms, the cam bolt is redundant. RIght?

I am curious as to why the lower control arm mounting point on the front axle has a pill shaped hole, rather than a round hole? What is the purpose?

realized I never followed up on this one - those MetalCloak Duroflex 7051 arms are an exact fit for the upper arms on the Teraflex Enduro long arm kit. So, don't attempt to use the radius arms, they won't fit.

That is on the axle end, the frame end is a clevite like rubber bushing.

I am changing out the joints on my lower long arms, the axle-end joints were really shot. I have an older Teraflex long arm kit and I am using a Teraflex large rubber control arm joint (Item J117701) so I am using the right part - but it has noticeably more space in the mount. Maybe this is...

Thanks @TimV - I wonder if they can be replaced with the snap-rings that come standard in the TeraFlex rebuild kits now? I might just swap out the whole end for a Johnny Joint as they seem to be much better regarded than TF's joints.

Well, first, the flex joint was really shot: https://photos.app.goo.gl/sVVLtAd525BEXXYs6 But, in looking at the videos explaining how to use the field tool to remove/replace the flex joints, they don't seem to match my joints. I don't have any snap rings. See below. How do I remove these?

To get the clevite bushing out, will the field tool work or is that just for the flexjoints?

I get that... it was the ability to clean the mud & dirt out easily that I found attractive. But, it is a different feel for sure.

Yep, already emailed them so hoping to get an answer on Monday... bummer because I was hoping to get them swapped out this weekend.

They are at the shortest point now and still longer than what I have, the bolt hole in the joint is too big too.
