I wondered the same thing. I have only wheeled with the guy a few times. He seems in tune with his jeep but who is to know on that. Maybe it doesn't make noise until it is too late.

I ended up buying another set of u bolts and I used cables instead of chains, but I added a set of safety chains from the tow bar to the jeep along with the set from the tow bar to the tow vehicle.

Is there an easy way to pull the exhaust from the manifold to the rear section where the rear cat is? Looks like will have to pull the transfer case skid plate down I would like to avoid that. I need to pull it down to replace the cat's

Just from my experience it was way better to just bypass some of the nanny features. I have a kenwood android auto unit that when I first started had it hooked up properly. It wouldn't let my wife put stuff in, became a pain. Granted i had to have the self discipline to use the voice controls...
