Water pump replaced and now leaking worse

I replaced the water pump with an OEM water pump and did everything right (or so I thought) but after putting it all together, the leak I was trying to fix is much worse. I cleaned the gasket surface with a razor blade, sanded it down and wire brushed it a bit to clean it all. Put on the bolts...

Belt Tensioner Broken on 2005 TJ

The torx bolt on my tensioner pulley has been blocked by a torx bit that broke off in it for awhile. Wasn’t an issue until the entire arm of the tensioner pulley snapped off today so now I need to remove the old tensioner and replace it. What should I do?

Leak from water pump or water pump gasket?

I’ve got a coolant leak coming from the water pump, but my buddy who suggested I check there said that the water pumps often outlive the gaskets there. Got the water pump off now. How can I check if the water pump needs to be replaced or if I can just throw a new gasket on the old pump?

    Replacement Seat Options?

I’ve got stock seats in my ‘03 TJ and I’m planning on buying either new seats or just seat covers. Are there any replacement seats out there with any interesting features or anything special about them in general? If not, I’ll probably just end up buying seat covers

    Dimmer Circuit with Switches

So this is the wiring diagram for the OTRATTW switch I’m planning on installing. I’m a little confused about what it says for terminal 7. “Do not jumper this terminal if you need both positive and negative wires from your dimmer circuit.” How do I know if I need both positive and negative wires...

    First time wiring a switch

The switches I’m looking at are rated for 20 amps. They’re OTRATTW contura xiv switches. And I was planning on doing all this with 14 gauge wire. That’s why I didn’t think it was really necessary to put in a relay. If everything is rated for 20 amps (the wire and the switch) and I had a 7.5 amp...

    First time wiring a switch

So can anyone correct me if I’m wrong on any of this here? I’m going to wire the halo’s in my LED headlights to a switch in my cab. Since the wattage of the headlights is 50W, divided by 12V, it’s only pulling about 4.2 amps. Since that’s the case, I don’t think I really need a relay for it, I...

Need help building auxiliary fuse box

I’ve seen mixed things in guides about building a new fuse box for all my accessories. If anyone can answer some questions about it, that’d be really helpful because I’m a little lost. 1. What is the purpose of relays in a fuse panel and should I get a fuse box with relay slots? 2. If I wire...

Opinions on this Savvy lift and installing it myself

Yeah I know I’ll need a body lift. Also, I do have a Dana 35 in the rear so I wanna upgrade to a Dana 44 before I throw on 35’s

Opinions on this Savvy lift and installing it myself

I’m probably gonna end up throwing on 33’s sooner and then eventually 35’s after an axle upgrade

I’m not sure about regearing yet. That’s one of the steps in this plan I haven’t looked into yet

No but I know that’s something else I’d have to buy along with the lift kit
