Tried adjustments still only have 4 wheel drive. Look up youtube videos but no luck. Not sure if I am not doing it right.

Took my TJ off road and got in jam and had to be pulled out. Afterwards I had to drive it home in 4 High. When I put it in 2 Wheel, it won't drive, it just grinds. Let me know your thoughts. Transfer case? It's a 4.0 with a 2 inch Rough country lift. No transfer case drop.Thanks.
