    Swing Out Tire Carrier Fix

Here's the link to the foam block I used. It's very firm foam rubber. https://aquamentor.com/products/marine-dock-bumpers

    Swing Out Tire Carrier Fix

It could, but the hardware seemed to squash it just a bit. And its a bit more unnoticeable on the swing. What i think I'll do, is put some clear protective tape, like that stuff people put on the front of their cars for bugs and road grit. I think that'd do the trick.

    Swing Out Tire Carrier Fix

Well, I'll just have to keep it as clean as possible. 👍

    Swing Out Tire Carrier Fix

It's high density foam rubber, doesn't scratch paint at all.

    Swing Out Tire Carrier Fix

I bought a sort of "off brand" rear bumper with tire carrier. Every bolt is tight, but there was still slop in the swing, it would swing in and out. So instead of buying a new one, I decided to try to fix the issue. If you grab the tire, and pull back, it'd move at least 2 inches forward and...

    Tire Shaving

On the trail and in the mud, I loved them. Once I got em shaved, I loved them on the road too.

    Tire Shaving

Yeah, I learned my lesson with Interco, I had the 34 TRXUS M/T R, I had ordered them online, Took them to a shop to get mounted, the guy did the best he could, but they would really balance. I did in fact send that set back. The Interco rep sent me a whole new set. The next set was the same...

    Tire Shaving

They're definitely not cheap. M/T's just have so much tread that it seems it's never even, which makes the tire out of round. They say it's a flaw in the manufacturing process, and you're kinda lucky if you get a good one.

    Tire Shaving

I don't remember exactly where on the tire the depths were, but I do remember that from the highest point of the tire to the lowest point, there was 1/4 of an inch difference. You could see a little bit of blade mark on the tread, like someone dragged a scraper of it, but it was all smoothed out...

    Tire Shaving

I ran through a set of ProComp M/Ts in under 20k. I switched to the Interco M/T. I wasn't buying really low level tires. When running a tire on the highway, it's going to experience a lot of wear and tear especially if it's not running smooth. The only thing it does to the tire...

    Tire Shaving

Uh, I did figure it out, the tires weren't close to being round, the guy couldn't balance the tires. I had them made round, problem went away. Did someone piss in your corn flakes? Do any kind of reading on the subject and you'll see that it's totally suitable for mud tires, and the main reason...

    Tire Shaving

Nope, as stated above, the tire guy put the wheel on by itself, and it spun damn near perfect by itself. He put the the wheel and tire on the balancer, set up a gauge on the high point, and spun by hand to show me, I couldn't believe the difference from the high point to the low point.
