    Don't feed the trolls lol.

The decline of restaurants and eating out

I'm guessing a person who door dashes a blizzard at 11:30pm for $11 isn't the healthiest...

Power hungry 4.0: how to give it what it wants?

There are only 4 ways to get more power out of a 4.0L: 1. Regear 2. More aggressive camshaft/internal engine work like port/polish the cylinder head 3. Build it into a stroker engine 4. Forced induction (turbo/supercharger) Those are the only options that will make any measurable difference...

    Muffler Question

I've had a bunch of mufflers on my 4.0L vehicles over the years thanks to living in New England and them rusting out frequently. Flowmaster 40 series are just loud, same with glasspacks. They sound cool for about 3 days then you get tired of it. Here are the ones I recommend from quietest to...

Sorry for another what's leaking thread

I would bet it is the water pump. When mine started leaking it did something similar, dripped down the front of the engine and onto the differential. Edit: by the grime on the timing cover it looks like your front crank seal is leaking pretty good. Could be that seal has finally completely...

Wife totaled her Jeep WK2 Hemi

Car shopping sucks, because usually I know what I want and it comes down to just trying to find it without someone scooping it out from under me or the vehicle itself being a POS.

Wife totaled her Jeep WK2 Hemi

Nice! I like the color, pretty similar to my WK2. You'll love the Carplay, it works pretty well in my 2019, and seems like a major upgrade over the earlier infotainment. I think you made the right choice, because at the end of the day even if you decided to fix the Jeep, your time and hassle...

What did you do to your TJ today?

If you are getting power to the starter relay but it still won't crank that sounds like a starter issue. Maybe coincidence? Are you getting power at the starter from the relay or just to the relay itself?

+1 My first Jeep mistake back in the day was an off the shelf Rough Country lift... which slowly turned into a mix of OME and other parts over time, and it rode like a totally different vehicle. Cheap vs. expensive lift parts are the difference between a Jeep that drives well on the street...

Yeah I definitely read the OP too quickly lol. I agree though. My TJ sees mostly dirt roads and daily driving in summer. I've owned several lifted Jeeps previous to this one, mostly XJs with 33's. My TJ has only 1" lift (H&R springs) and 31s and it drives perfect for what I need while...

The decline of restaurants and eating out

Door dash is crazy to me, I can't believe how much people spend on that. One of my student workers does door dash for everything, from restaurants that are within walking distance to our campus. :ROFLMAO:

Wife totaled her Jeep WK2 Hemi

Agreed, it's also a much different scenario now with unibody vehicles where the entire vehicle is built to absorb the impact. A hit on one corner can send the impact forces through the entire vehicle. One of my XJs was a 2000 Sport 4-door I owned my first two years of college. Absolutely MINT...

Wife totaled her Jeep WK2 Hemi

+1 definitely worth looking into. With any wreck that totals a vehicle I'd want to be checking the frame/unibody for straightness before buying it back so it doesn't wear out tires every 5000 miles for the rest of its life.

Need input on selling my TJ

I don't even feel safe driving where they live, I would never meet someone to sell something without carrying. The crazy thing is his brother showed me where the plaza was, it was a pretty active public place, lots of traffic and stores/restaurants/cameras. They didn't care apparently.
