It does have some rust. The extent of it has to be verified in person. Price and mileage doesn’t seem bad at all especially if you can negotiate it down some more off his price.

Reviving this thread as I used plumbers tape on the drain plug but it’s still weeping into a slow drip. Any other ideas? I haven’t tried the PTFE thread sealant but trying to gather any other ideas before having to drain it again.

I have a 1.25” BL and an extra clearance UCF tummy tuck. Like others have said it did cause shifting issues. The two biggest mods that have helped are the B&M short shifter and changing the rubber accordion style boot to a leather one.

A little earlier than usual but put windows and full doors back on. Afternoon weather is beautiful but couldn’t take the 50 degree morning 5am drives to work anymore. Side note- I always forget how heavy full doors are compared to the half doors

Yea that was a big hangup for me as well. If it was auto I could make it my daily. Underside is fine. I actually gave my input when he bought it back in 2020.
