    Identify this connector clip

I asked the parts department at the dealer - sent him these pics - he had no clue. Oh well; zip ties to the rescue.

    Identify this connector clip

I looked at Charm. Cool site; I had never heard of that! It’s the same problem though; I don’t even know what that plug/connector is to look it up by name. 😞

    Identify this connector clip

Cool site - but I still have the same problem … I have no idea what it is! I’d love a diagram or something like that.

    Identify this connector clip

Working on my 6.7 Cummins and I realized this big beefy connector near the brake booster is hanging free. There seems to be some intermediate / interfacing clip missing that would attach to the connector and then hook into the mounting clip above it. Any ideas on how to identify what this...

Projects that would take me months to figure out @macleanflood does between obstacles on the trail. I’m always impressed with your skills! And I wish I was as unafraid of breaking stuff as you are!

    News + current events

I remember my grandfather who was born in the 20s, and was mostly into classical music, one time in what must have been the 90s, he puts on the OG Black Sabbath album at a family gathering after some Tchaikovsky or Mozart or something. He just switches right to this crazy psychedelic death...

What did you do to your other vehicle today?

Ha! Yeah you should’ve seen the piles of crap that came out when I sledged the old rotors off! I undercoat my truck annually but it’s a losing battle.

What did you do to your other vehicle today?

New brakes on the 2500. These things corrode away into dysfunction long before they actually wear out, including the stupid $85 bracket in FCA’s design that needs to be replaced with pads & rotors. It’s a shame, and a waste of metal. But I’m good now for another couple years.

    Willys

Not sure where to post this it was just sitting there looking purty so I snapped a pic. He had a fishing rod holder holding his fishing rod right there across the dash (inside - not in pic). That’s what I’d like to use my TJ for in years to come; just bumping down class VI roads to different...

    Carparts.com fenders $210

The fenders came today but the box was so beat up I didn’t accept the delivery. carparts.com has fast customer service and has offered a full refund or replacement. On the one hand I’m not sure how these or even the CAPA ones are going to fit. But on the other hand I’m not going to find rust...

    Carparts.com fenders $210

Looks like the “Q” and $100 difference is due to the CAPA certification. Hopefully this doesn’t come back to bite me when I’m trying to fit these to the Jeep; or attach the hood clamps and stuff.

    Carparts.com fenders $210

I’ve been looking at these replacement fenders for a while. They have been between $310 and $330, but for some reason today I looked and they’re $210 for both sides so I pulled the trigger. Shipping was $68, but still under $300 shipped. The reviews are good; I’m expecting some fitment but we’ll...

Need some ideas for weather proofing the door on my shed

What about a trim strip on the outside to block the gap when the two doors come together? It might require you to always close one side first, if that’s a consideration.
