South Carolina 3D Printed Accessories & Aftermarket Parts

I bought the radio bezel from them and am really happy with it. They make great niche parts for the TJ/LJ platform. When I was stuck on my build they had the affordable off-the-shelf solution I couldn't find anywhere else. Glad to see them getting some recognition.

Texas LJ Black Soft Top (No Hardware)

Wow that's a good price... about half of what I paid for the same thing a few years back. Shame I don't need one now. 😔

Help with picking donor vehicle for one-ton axle swap

ColoJeep's message is accurate. After scouring the local pick-&-pull's I ended up getting my 2009 F250 axles from a local auto recycler (inventoried used auto parts). Please give Nashville's question on suspension some consideration as opportunities may exist to reduce rework when going to...

    Thoughts on Rock-Slide Engineering steps?

All of the above comments match my experience, and I'll add that their after-purchase support is top tier. They make incremental advancements to their new steps, and the replacement parts I've ordered incorporates these same advancements. Very impressive.

Entry level (I mean basic) handheld recommendations?

DavidBT is giving solid advice. I've done well with using the basic Motorola T100 (~$15 each) for Jeep Jamborees and private trail runs. Ideally each vehicle would have radios, and at the very minimum make sure the lead and tailgunner vehicles have connectivity.

    Mine does this too. It's not a bug, it's a feature! 🙂

Who has done a DIY highline?

I followed the higher ground hyperlink in the above post from @Apparition and took my time with it and believe it came out well. I replaced the stock air intake with a cone filter, the stock windshield washer fluid reservoir replaced with a Ford windshield washer reservoir bag, eventually went...

Does rear Antirock sway bar need a body lift to be installed?

I used the original rear AntiRock kit (that I also could not install without a lift). With the help of @Terry Tiemeyer it was very easy to place the torsion bar across the frame, weld the mounting brackets to the frame, and weld the tabs to the axle (Ford 10.5). No body lift was needed to...

Does rear Antirock sway bar need a body lift to be installed?

I encountered the same challenge with not having enough clearance above the gas tank to mount the Antirock torsion bar. Have you considered installing it backwards (torsion bar near middle of vehicle and arms facing rearward)?

Where are you mounting your on-board air compressors?

If you're using the ARB CKMTA12 Twin motor dual cylinder compressor you may want to consider: https://mountainoffroad.com/products/arb-air-compressor-mount-tj-99-06 I installed mine in 2018 after changing my fenders, with zero issues since.
