Most heater hose is not suitable for oil transfer. I would be concerned that it might deteriorate and fail. Which of course would be pretty catastrophic.

You may just need to replace the harmonic balancer. When intact, it has an inner part and an outer part separated and held together by a thin piece of rubber. Sounds like the rubber is gone? Post a picture?

If you have the 6 speed, the symptoms generally indicate a transmission issue. Search for threads with NSG370.

I put an Odyssey AGM in my 06 and ran it for 8 years without any issues whatsoever. I replaced it with another Odyssey only because it was 8 years old. It still works perfectly after 8 years. If my rig will be sitting for a couple weeks, I hook up my CTek charger with an AGM setting.

So you bought an item that you knew could not be returned. They deviated from there written policy and refunded most of your money. I'm confused as to why you're complaining. Sounds like you lucked out.
