Thats very interesting. I had no idea that export TJs came with levelling headlights. I have my front grille off at the moment and definitely don't have the motor or the levelling switch on the dash. Jeep probably just kept the wiring on these models even if they didn’t include the motor.

Just replaced the front grille wiring harness on my 97. When comparing the new harness to the old, I found 2 connectors on my old harness that have never been plugged in. New harness works fine. Just want to know what these could possibly be for. Cheers

Update. Don’t want to leave this thread without finishing it off. After looking over wiring and having a mechanic run a scan and a few tests. I sent my pcm off to wrangler fix and it was toast. Mark sent me out another one, I installed it back in the jeep and it fired up straight away. Slightly...

I agree. I’m just hoping because I’m not seeing chunks yet it might still be fine for a while. Time will tell, but for now I suppose I’ll just drive it and see what happens.

G’day man, Its a 97 and prior to the no start i was having a rough idling issue and the revs were occasionally jumping up and down. Didn't matter whether it was a cold start or up to temp. Cairns would be nice coming into summer now mate
