Need input on selling my TJ

I would say that I agree with others, it's a terrible time. I would look at Facebook, not for what they go for, which you won't know, but what they're listed. Then look at Autotrader and cars.com. I'd do 2000-2006 and just to see. I looked here in Austin, TX area, and it's as low as I've...

JB Conversions SS SYE speedo issues

Thanks, it’s been a journey, ha. Yeah, with the Super Short they use a Tone Ring, I believe it’s called, instead of the gear to make the output shorter. With the ToneRing there needs to be a different type and its needs the electronic translation. Also, make sure you tighten that yoke nut...

Stretched TJK (bigger rubber & extra inches)

Nice solution...ha. In Texas, they just scrapped inspection....but in big counties (of course mine) still need emission. I have been battling an Evap for 10 years. Fixed for 6 or so, and back. Here, I can state that it's outside the state at the time being used (learned this from my son...

Need a quick fix for my driveline angle

Agree. I’d get the washers, measure the thickness, and look at replacing the bolts with that much longer I usually have to go to Ace for bolts but Lowe’s may work

Clunk when turning left and right

T he knuckle isn’t straight through, it’s press in fit, so if it’s wallowed out, that means there movement, should be none. I had that, and had to get new knuckles. Blaine had some and he sent, really cool that he did, I soaked them in Evaporust to get any surface rust off, cleaned them up...

    Where do I start?

The ones on my TJ, in my profile? They are Warrior Products metal fender flares, I think the 3" ones, they have 6" I think. Came on the TJ and yeah, I like them without cutting the fenders for Hilines.

    Where do I start?

100%, I would suggest start looking at TJ's, online, in pics, or in person. Find one that you're like "yes, that's it". My CJ5, I 100% had exactly what I wanted. My 2005 TJ, was for my son, and in college he wanted a truck, and I was excited to take the TJ. But I'm almost always a Red Jeep...

    Trouble with slip shaft

Short term, I’d see about running a file to make sure no burs, clean it up, and put it on. A stock drive shaft isn’t too expensive and I would bet a local ds shop can fix without a full replacement. You can absolutely get a SYE, but that means a new driveshaft anyway, because you’ll need one...

    Could use a little help

So welcome to the forum, and that TJ Color is awesome! Looks amazing. If you got the TJ with zero rust for $2200, you got a deal. A lot of guys would say get a scope in the frame rails to make sure it’s not rotting inside out, ha. If it’s what is being suggested, then an engine swap is...

Order of Operations for 2" Lift

I agree with Boogieman You’re list looks more like what would be needed for a 3-5”-4” lift. 2”, you’re not going to need all that I don’t believe. 2" Lift shocks rear shock relocating bracket? (I read some where that this is needed so it doesnt hit the spring?) absolutely NOT NEEDED matching...

    Removing Lift Back to Stock

It’s not on tires, don’t you want to wait until it’s on ground and sitting to see if the axle is centered?

Savvy Under Armor / Skid Plate Install Write-Up

That was my understanding, was hoping an unofficial set maybe somewhere with these kind of tips. I created my Savvy cable shifter unofficial instructions and adjustments from some posts on here ha
