I put the Best Top seats in my '05 Rubicon and I prefer them to the original ones as they are firmer and just feel better. The passenger side folds forward but I think that is a function of the rails. I have to reach under the seat to release it but jeep is lifted so no trouble.

Had a great time yesterday , great to get to know you guys and the wife really enjoyed herself too. Hope you guys will invite me to go again soon.

Finally saw this thread, the boat launch is directly across the road from the turn off for Bell Mountain. I will be there. Charlie's Creek is not rough since it was graded but Popcorn is at least muddy and a little rough.

TPS fixed 2 of my rigs with similar symptoms of high idle. One was a '87 XJ with Renix system and may not count, other is a '05 TJ both 4.0L. The '05 did set a CEL. Thought I would mention it.

Try the TPS.

Can you tell if noise is in back or front. Assumed it was in back since you had new drum brakes installed and thought something wasn’t right. Need to determine if noise is on front or back and go from there.

Might be some of your brake shoe retaining hardware came loose and fell down into the drum. Pull drum and see if any loose parts fall out.

Do you happen to have a cold air intake? I have a '06 that had a Banks cold air intake and Banks exhaust with a larger throttle body and an Edge module when I bought it. It makes a lot of similar noise. I believe most of the noise is coming from air cleaner. Runs good though so I don't really...

I put Core Tier1 CA's on my 2000 TJ sport and after 2 years still working good and no maintenance. More highway use than off road but I'm pleased with them and the price was right.
