Yeah just in my head. Had bunch of ppl listen and it’s just me lol. Wasn’t like a normal engine tick or anything. More like a sound and few weeks after I found a pulley bearing needed replacing so guessing that might of been it I just jumped on the gun too quick.
Good luck finding a fix for...
Thanks, yes very few I’ve seen in NY and even on some of the auctions the undercarriages are either beat up, scratch, rusty. Very few left that look clean clean. Those are southern vehicles too. I guess if you wheel it, you expect it all to show it. :)
Thanks do my very best to preserve it. Sits in the garage so it doesn’t see what most vehicles see around here and no trail rides either. Last time I checked, interior of the frame is like new.
Hi Everyone!
Decided to sell my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ with only 70,000 miles. It's automatic, supercharged, comes with both factory hardtop and Bestop Soft Top. It's got a small build on it, pm me for more information. It's super clean, its got its own little ding here or a scuff...
Here is another version of it with it being 4F outside and it said 25F in the garage. You can hear it at 15-16 seconds of the video. Maybe its normal and maybe its just my OCD kicking in on now hearing it. LOL.
Yeah, it’s like you hear the starter and it starts but as soon as the starter stops you hear that rattle sort of. At first I thought exhaust or something related but it would do it all the time. It goes away at warmer temps and since it’s like 0F outside my garage without heating it goes below...
Thank you. I will try the additive. Anything above 30F no noise and Jeep runs tops without issues or engine codes after the half a second noise. Only once after sitting overnight.
Update on this; changed the oil from 10w30 to 5w30 now, and got the filter with a better drain valve. It went away for a few cold day startups which is in the garage but now its back again. It sort of sounds like the rattle the Ecoboost engines from Fort got with their cams / chain issue ( )...
That’s what I was thinking or maybe the Mopar filter I got lost its valve or went bad.
Will change oil today with new Fam filter and see if that changes things.
Best I can describe the sound if not heard in the video is when your Civic exhaust while accelerating had the frequency crash, it...
Temps dipped into freezing and the garage temp went down to like 35, too. This just started so it might be oil and filter or valve gone bad on the filter. Not sure I want to replace lifters.
