2005 TJ Rubicon Stock Locker Issue

Are you trying it while parked? Sometimes I need to drive forward or backwards a few feet for it to engage.

What was your most epic trip?

I drove the Alcan once when I was younger... we were on a time crunch, but i would love to do it again and take my time. The whole trip was New York to Anchorage.

Is it safe to run a battery tender through the DC power port?

Would you go as far as to spice in a fuse to one of those trickle chargers like Battery Tender?

    Notchy 1st to 2nd shift with NSG370

It’s not easy… there’s nothing better than great smooth shifts. There a many times when I don’t feel like clutching into 2nd from a roll and opt to try 1st and it’s far less than smooth.

    Notchy 1st to 2nd shift with NSG370

Ahhhh... I would think its just practice and time. The jerking is probably from letting the clutch out too quick and or not givng it enough gas to match the revs. The lower gears and slower speeds will usually be felt more than say going from 5th to 6th.

    Notchy 1st to 2nd shift with NSG370

I’m a bit lost. You should be in gear by the time you are easing of the clutch and givining it gas.
