    SwayLOC installed

I don’t know about being Cool but the lazy part of me likes just bending down and flipping a lever. No more laying on the ground and hammering on the links.

    Best bank to finance TJ

I’m fortunate and my Wife and I know how to save and don’t like paying to rent money. I can’t see paying 2 or 3 grand in interest for a toy. We save and pay cash for vehicles and toys. Also no extended warranties.

No we were based in Amboy and stayed South of the Mojave Trail. I’ve run the Mojave Trail many times and it is a great run with a lot of history. There were 292 of us and we split up to several runs 20 Vehicles per run. My group is historically based and we traveled to several mining and old...

    SwayLOC installed

I put a SwayLOC sway bar on my 05 LJ last week and tested it on a 5 day trip out in the Mojave. Approximately 500+ miles. 280mi on road pulling my teardrop and the rest on the trail. Man what a difference over my stock setup with JK clone disconnects. The installation directions were pretty...

Zorba you’ve described my life in all its glory. You just forgot about the wrench in my back pocket that I’ve been looking for.

Here’s my camping table 27”x47”. Sets up in under 2 min. Takes up no space in my teardrop. As for portable work tables I use a piece of plywood on a trashcan, a 2’x4’ folding table or 2’x6’ folding table depending on the size of the work.

It’s not just the latest generation things like this have been happening for years. I’ve been hiking the Sierra for over 30 yrs and saw people disrespecting nature on most trips. My hiking partners and I had a saying “You meet the nicest people 2 days in”. We once climbed Mt Whitney from the...

    New tow rig

I see it’s a Fx4 does it have a rear locker? I have a 18 F250 Fx4 and the rear locker has come in handy especially pulling a trailer up steep un improved roads. If you don’t mind me asking what did it set you back?

    New Tool Day

When I ran bees commercially we did a lot of Idling and slow off road driving. Both played havoc with the DEF systems of my Frieghtliner and F550s. The DEF system failed on my F550 and it was a $10K bill. Cheaper to just delete it..

Yes my rotary tiller and brush hog need the rpms. Most of my tractor use is the loader, box scraper and land plane. I pull my drag with the TJ because it has a tighter turning radius when dressing my RV lot. Both my Kubotas are hydrostatic and have digital display of PTO speed.

    Powersaws - what's everyone using?

There are 2 tools that I won’t let people borrow. One is a pressure washer and the second is a chain saw.

    New Tool Day

My L6060 does not have a DEF system. Some how it uses heat to burn the exhaust. I do have to keep the revs up to 2K or higher otherwise the filter clogs up. Even though it’s twice the HP of the L3130 it uses 3 times the fuel.
