A bit late to the reply party. Live Just a little south of you in Chandler. My 2001 TJ 4.0's temp gauge reading is identical to yours. It is perpetually just above 210 even when running hard in 100+ heat and the a/c cranked. Hope this helps.

Second what Jerry advises. Have the same setup (33's/4.0/5 sp) I went with 4.88 only in anticipation of moving to 35's next time I need rubber. 4.56 gearing would be perfect if you are sticking with current tire size.

Easy install this morning of the Misch Big Boy brackets for the drivers seat. MONTSER improvement. Now will actually look forward to those 2+ hour drives. Will finally be able to stretch out a bit.
