Can't tell by pics....search "Dry steering test". That will tell you what components are worn out.

There is a mark on each bearing cap and on the case. Doesn't have to be a "Y" but the orientation will be the same on the case and the bearing retainer that should be there. It isn't that the symbols need to be "up" or "down" they need to match the mark on the case.

I've never taken the door panel off my doors, but wondering if you did if you could get access to the end of the bolt from behind and twist it out?

50% ATF 50% acetone is one of the best penetrating oils you can use. I'd give that a try.

I think you've got to cycle the brakes in reverse — pedal engaged and disengaged to get the adjuster to move. Don't think just dragging will move the adjuster.

My 06 44 does not have a drain plug.

sure it wasn't on the threads of the plug? Pretty common to put some RTV on the plug threads so they don't leak.

Yes used a hydraulic press. Couldn’t get it anywhere close to getting the snap ring in. I’m going to upgrade to something else and rejuvenate these into the trash.

Yeah I’m going to rebuild the original joints. I must have blown them out greasing them. Oh well live and learn.

I used the zerks. Stopped when I saw grease come out side, but I did always wonder if it made it's way around the ball etc. Lesson learned I probably should have disassembled and packed full of grease on install. I'm thinking about upgrading to these. Anyone have any experience with duraflex...
