I found the source of vibrations I’ve been having while accelerating for the past couple months… (after checking various other things) Replaced both rear driveshaft u-joints and it’s all fixed now. This was by far the easiest u-joint replacement I’ve had yet, no problems at all.

New tires! BFG KO2 31s Replaced my driver side wheel bearing after it started making noises, I’ve had the parts ready for a while but was waiting for it to give up. Should’ve been quick but a stripped bolt slowed it down by many days. I bought a spiral bolt extractor kit for it which I did...

Just some more photos that haven’t yet made it on here… New underseat sub install because the one one on the tailgate got soaked in a storm and gave up. I like this one way more

    Battery draining

Yeah makes sense, I pulled the fuse and will just drive for a few days before I put it back in to make sure the battery gets fully charged again. Thanks

    Battery draining

I drive my tj daily. I just realized that it first was completely dead after I tried to start it after not driving it while on vacation for a week. That is by far the most amount of days I’ve gone without driving it in a long time. The second time it died was the following day and I had only...

    Battery draining

This fuse does not control anything else I don’t think. You reminded me though that I have a separate powered sub connected directly to the battery. Its fuse is therefore in a separate spot. The fuse pins for that read .15V immediately after turning the car off. It then slowly rose (I haven’t...

    Battery draining

Reviving this thread… my battery has been dead twice now after sitting only overnight. I just did what Dan suggested in the post to which I replied. I checked every fuse with a multimeter for voltage, all showed as 0V except for fuse 10 which is labeled “cluster” - that showed 0.15V. Is this...

Didn’t mean for my tire rotation and oil change to turn into a full day ordeal, but that somehow had to happen of course... Lug nut stripped on the stud and just spun. A few hours later with lots of hammering and drilling and it finally all came apart:

Jeep was feeling a bit more wobbly than usual, checked sway bar links and one of the bolts was missing. Instead of getting a new bolt, I changed to cotter pins for quick disconnects

Some photos from a fire road I found last weekend, and then a replacement of the u-joints and centering yoke on my front driveshaft today. It was making quite a bit of noise.

It somehow practically came out of nowhere too! Was lucky it happened so close to my house and could limp it there

Haven’t updated this in a while since going to college and being busy with all of that, so here’s a bunch of stuff from the past couple months. I don’t have any pictures because it was 11pm and dark, but on a camping/climbing trip I actually got the jeep stuck in a hole off of a gravel road in...
