Dana 44 axle shafts and carrier question

So am I to understand correctly, savvy shift cable gets rid of the oem shift linkage that's mounted into the tub. The rod that sits in bracket on tub and goes into the Tcase?

Dana 44 axle shafts and carrier question

Tcase makes sense now that I think about it. Since it's bolted to the frame and not the body.

Dana 44 axle shafts and carrier question

Bump stop spacers in addition to the ones came with savvy lift? And you mention rubbing the fender. Would a flat fender solve that issue? I already have a sye with DC shaft. If I do a body lift wouldn't that create even more distance between the tcase and rear axle? Would I need a longer drive...

Dana 44 axle shafts and carrier question

Been doing a lot of reading on here about axles and still have some questions can find answears to. Got a 99 with Dana 35/Dana 30, with what looks like according to plates on covers 3.73 gears. Got a 4" lift. Running 33s. Would like to go to 35s later. The jeep is a mild commuter but mostly a toy and...

The Official LED Light Bar Guide

I got the straight one. Looks to me wasn't as important as functionality. If curved provides better coverage I'd get that. But I got a hybrid spot and flood bar. Covers pretty well. Only issue now, is I'm getting a ton more wind noise on top between windshield and hard top. Not sure if the bar...

Questions about vibrations after lift install

Thanks. Not driving it at all. Don't want to mess up new savvy arms I put In. This was a great answer to my questions. I didn't check the angle of the pinion after I had the alignment shop adjust it a bit for me. But I guess no point in messing with it since I'll do the sye next week.

Questions about vibrations after lift install

Thanks. Got the the control arms and bracket. Got the sye/DC shaft coming. I'm just trying to understand vibrations. I figured if I understand why it happens prior and disappears post will help me understand the geometry of the jeep. I figured the driveline vibrations are obvious because of the...

Questions about vibrations after lift install

Yes sye and shaft are together. I got washers to drop the tcase but to drop it low enough I need to relocate the tcase shifter support that's bolted to the body. And that's not something else I want to get into. And it's not mentioned on any diy or even tcase drop kits that's something that...

Questions about vibrations after lift install

Got a question about vibration. Couldn't find a post that describes it in detail. I got a 4in lift on with new 33 mud terrains. I've set pinion angle up a little with stock shaft to compensate for the lift. I'm aware that I will get vibrations if I don't change to cv shaft and I have one...
