    Rubicrawler for $1400

I would pass on it, not needed with a 241 and auto. Super low gearing only good for snapping axles. A manual can benefit from low gearing, but an auto with its torque converter isn't needed in my opinion. I've got 35's with 5.13 gears on my auto Rubicon and don't find a need for a 2.72 range...

2006 Rubicon rear brake line replacement hose

You can buy a kit from Classic Tube that will replace the tube and hose on the rear axle.

    Transmission leaning

That piece you're pointing to is a bracket for the exhaust. Support rod from 3rd cat fits in the bracket hole.

Advice on possible purchase LJ vs LJR

Keep what you have. You know what you have vs. unknowns of someone else's Jeep. You have good tires and wheels, the other wheels are recoated and have cheap, smaller tires. The Rubi lockers are over-hyped. Better off installing ARB or E-locker with proper gearing.

TJ ride quality issue – spacers, mixed shocks, and minimum lift for 33s

I'm guessing the front shocks are the cause of your problems. Remove the front shocks and go for a short slow ride. Report back, you'll probably need to get new shocks of the proper length.

New to me tires & wheels have created problems

Sounds like a tire balance issue since you didn't have problems previously.

Help deciding between TJ or JL

What is the intended use? Museum piece? Jay Leno collection? 14K miles doesn't mean it's a new vehicle, still 20 years old, there will be issues after sitting around without use. Will also depend on your wrenching capabilities. TJ is a great Jeep for anyone willing to work on their own rig. If...

Help deciding between TJ or JL

I wouldn't buy a manual JL unless you plan to install an aftermarket clutch. 3.6 with auto would be better choice. Also wouldn't spend more than 15K for a TJ.

Dry Steering Test Results - 2006 LJ

The bolt should have no movement. It appears that the hole in the mounting bracket is wallowed out.

1997 TJ 5-speed front seized up

Is the double cardan end of the front driveshaft seized up?

1997 TJ 5-speed front seized up

Yeah, front tires need to be off the ground to turn the yoke on the front diff. The fact that you can turn the yoke on the transfer case means it should be OK.

1997 TJ 5-speed front seized up

If the front wheels spin by hand with the front of the front driveshaft disconnected then I'd say the front differential is fine. Can you turn the front yoke of the transfer case by hand?

99 TJ no start (has fuel pressure and no spark at plug)

My experience with the 4.0 is when it stops running it's either the fuel pump or Crankshaft Position Sensor. You've already ruled out the fuel pump.
