I have chains for front and rear. Several times I have only put them on the front or rear depending on the situation but having them on all 4 corners sure makes a difference.

I would also be suspicious. I would want to crawl under it again if you can and then weight the price vs the risk. I thought I did my due diligence when I purchased my TJ and I found a lot of things later I should have caught initially.

I have two ammo cans that have two sets of chains in each. They are heavy but it keeps them contained and fairly low profile to store.

$300 sounds like a good deal assuming the wheels are in good shape but it wouldn't hurt to try for $250.

I've been happy with my Banks Monster exhaust, still holding up good after 4 or 5 years now. No droning in the cab which was one of my criteria when I was looking.
