I guess it depends on why you want dual batteries. If you just want dual batteries just so on occaision you kill your main battery and want a spare to jump off of, then I agree a jump box is cheaper and smaller to store, but if you use the spare battery for a stereo or winch or anything else...
Mine is 98 with ac, I am not positive about a 2001 with ac, but if you look up the bracket it should tell you what years it is good for. My suspician is it will work with a 01, but again double check with the dual battery tray to make sure. I will see If I still have the wiring diagram and will...
Thanks for tagging me, It is too dang hot for me now. We are going up to Munds over the weekend to ride ATV's. It is supposed to be in the low 80s during the day and high 50s at night. Once the middle of May hits, I usually run for the hills. On a side note we usually go to Cinders just north of...
All right thanks guys. I am dropping the tank now. I was just wondering if I needed to chop it or not, but if it is truly a 19 it is probably already short. Thanks for the advice as always.
Ok I know this thread beat a dead horse, but I am confused here with mine. I have a 98 TJ, and my numbers state it is a 19 gallon, but I have ran mine empty well not to where I was stranded, but the most gallons I have ever put in it were 15. And my gauge works fine as far as I know. Meaning...
Thanks for everybody's advice, and so fast too. This is the best community. I just ordered the Bosh from Rock Auto. it is an expensive bugger, but hopefully superior quality. This is solved thanks again for everybody's quick input.
So when my shows empty it takes 15 gallons to fill, but you are saying that I could shove a 19 gallon in my 15 gallon tank just in case? Will that change my fuel gauge if I actually do have a 15 gallon? Do you have suggestions on how to find out for sure?
yeah, I cant really test the regulator because it seems to be working, just fluctuates at an idle and is hard starting. Also when driving it stumbles more so while cold but still when it warms up. The kicker is the fluctuating gauge. One time when I had an ignition issue a couple years ago, I...
Hi guys,
I need some help finding a quality fuel pump and or regulator for my 98 TJ 4.0 15 gallon tank. I am pretty sure the regulator is bad. I get fluctuating pressures at idol with a gauge. It fluctuates from 51 to 55 so fast you can't barely see the needle. Also it doesn't prime with the...
If I read it correctly it looks like a new brake booster fixed his issue, but if you put a new brake booster on and it is still an issue read @Jerry Bransford's response a couple up. A stuck lockup converter could possibly do the same thing. Test it the way he suggests.
I put my Advance adaptors SYE in years ago, but I used Tom Woods driveline. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with the Advance adaptors. I also find that Summit Racing stocks a lot of 4x4 parts. I use them from time to time. They have a decent return policy if you have any problems.
Just got back from camping and fishing at Lake Bartlett, AZ. I will post more pics when I get them downloaded, but this one I thought was worth sharing that I grabbed off of my phone - This was taken at night. This is the moon.
