    Dash-top tweeter / speaker

Yep. Actually a template and a router to finish it off once you've rough-cut the ABS with the jigsaw. Luckily the dash is pretty much symmetrical, so you can just flip the ABS, tape both sides together with some double sided tape and have at it. I also had to counter-sink the bolt areas to...

    Dash-top tweeter / speaker

I started playing around with 3D printed dashtop pods. This is for a BLAM 2 inch driver. Unfortunately, PLA+ isn't up to the heat of the Floridian automotive environment.

Heat gun + a jig + patience. I've also used a torch but the heat gun was slower and less likely to damage the material.

Upgrading the sound system on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

It's not recommended. You can do it, but you may see the system go into protect mode, overheat, or fail prematurely. I looked at running 2ohm drivers off a headunit years ago and wasn't willing to risk it. And you'll void your warranty, but you own a Jeep so you're probably ok with that. 😅

Is there a market for OEM factory TJ parts?

I prefer original parts, but they are so hard to find.

    Who makes a Corvette? Really?

I arrived late at night DFW and had to pick up a rental. My previous rental (some kind of kia or the like) had a death wobble at 65 mph, so I complained and got a free upgrade for my next rental. They were all out of upgraded cars with the exception of a bunch of Cadillac SUVs... or a Camaro SS...

Let me think about it. Alternatively, feel free to make me an offer I cannot refuse

Upgrading the sound system on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

I've got both a M508 and a UTE-73BT in the garage. Single Din radios are becoming rare - crutchfield doesnt carry the CDE-BT175 anymore which is a shame. I guess no one uses cds anymore...

agreed. I liked my M508, but went back to Alpine. Old habits die hard. I've been running Alpine head units for close to 30 years.

I'm thinking of 3d printing them. that could be a bad idea, but we'll see.

Upgrading the sound system on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Unless you are in the industry, I think a lot of the stuff they do is far too detailed and it's easy to get lost. They are fantastic though. I dropped in to buy my DSR1 one day and Dean went ahead and ensured the firmware was current. Then he proceeded to talk to me for 45 minutes about...

Moving my tweeters up was a great improvement. I'm thinking of trying a wideband tweeter/mid like the Blam LFR50 to get even more frequencies out of those dash locations.

I've got a pair of hogtalare speakers hooked up to a record player. It's incredible. I've had a Creality Ender 3v2 for almost 2 years. I assembled it a year ago and finally started using it last night. I had to replace a plastic part on the extruder right from the start as the plastic one that...

The Helix cannot be bridged, can it? I really need 6+1 channels and the V Eight DSP would seem to fit the bill if it were bridgeable.

I'm looking at the morel 2.5 middler/twiddler/tweeter thing plus their MW5 as a possibility. The MW5 is expensive though. I just started 3D printing things so I plan to play around a lot with pod designs, etc. I just noticed that Blam had a twiddler thing as well, with better frequency...
