Going to run Sourgrass trail on May 30th.

I have never done this trail but lots of buddies have it’s supposed to take about 1-1.5 hour each way. It’s a out and back.

It looks like it will be open, but could be possible that we will get there and find a locked gate. I am going to try drive by and confirm it’s open between now and then.

Anyone else interested?

So which direction does this take you? What have you eliminated?

I thought that I had eliminated the rear end, but as a result, the gear set they installed is so fricken noisy that I now have another problem. It's not right, so I am now dealing with the shop to see if they will make it right. That leads me to yet another 5hr. round trip to the shop to deal with this.
In the mean time, I can probably rule out the rear end. and go back to the drive shaft, or the only other thing I haven't addressed, the trany.

Do you want to try a TC swap? Driveshafts and all?

Once I get the re-gear issue settled I'm not sure where to go at this point. @Alex01 has offered up his t-case to swap. That is a lot of work. I'm pretty sure that it is a rotating mass issue. I'm not sure how many drive shafts I can replace and think that it will fix the vibes. I surely wish I never re-geared and stayed on 31's at this juncture.

It’s one day of wrenching and I have a Tera-Low case and shafts to go with it if you want to crawl instead of walk.

We could knock it out in a half of day.

If anyone is up to run it this weekend let me know, I will be from Thursday till Monday morning so I could do Fri, Sat or Sun/ I'll be home on the 30th. Don't mean to hyjack this trip but if anyone up this way let me know. It takes about a hour each way. It has a nice picnicking area at the beginning at the river and the end before you have turn around
