What did you do to your TJ today?

Continuing to undo all the clusterflops that all the PO's perpetuated. Installed upper bracket for RC adjustable track bar, Straightened out the body tub (more rollover damage), installed half doors and swapped locks, straightened out the RF fender since I already had the hi-lift and dead blow hammer out (I'll work on the hood next). Tomorrow: remove the 2" lift pucks.

Oh, and I ordered new front brakes, O2 sensors and a new clockspring.

LOL, yah I said "cloths line" but meant cloths hanger. Oops. LOL Anyway, I may try that, again, I was just worried about messing up the mic. Mainly, making it all sticky from the tape, but I think I will try painters tape. I can't go the opposite way right now as I don't feel like taking the dash back apart to get to the other end of the mic wire.

My Kenwood came with a very similar mic for the bluetooth and I just mounted it on to of the steering column. Works fine there

did a couple weekends ago. just did it for the xj this weekend.
fun fact. daisy 8oz sour cream tubs fit perfectly by tension in the lug nuts on my cragers. acorn style not locking. i was not ready to pay for centercaps, then remove all the wheels to put them on.

ate a bunch of tacos, collected four, painted them the only color can of spray paint i had, and popped them on.
they do the job of keeping the big stuff out. and, i can always eat more tacos and have color options.

You should add this to the inexpensive mod thread...

Yah I was looking at that today and I will probably move it when I start putting the top down. I think it will get way to much wind noise in its current location.

Got the fuel injectors removed and the fuel rail cleaned out (it was full of brown gunk that I don't know if it was rust or mud... either way it's time to drop the tank). Definitely going to have to replace the injectors. Got the spark plugs changed, as well as the distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires. Got the steering wheel removed (rented a puller from O'Reilly's) and took the clockspring out. Verified that it was bad (figured it was, since the PO had wired in a dash button for the horn... already ordered a new one). Super glued a broken cruise switch and I'll reinforce it with some epoxy once it's dry.

And right as I was getting started, I smashed my thumb pretty good. Enough to separate skin and bleed. I knew it was just a matter of time before she drew first blood.

No pics today. Phone was too dead to use the flash.

Well done for pushing on after the thumb incident (y)
