Another solution to a problem that never existed

Wow, they saved a machining step by not keying the cranks, etc. Saved 50 cents, and added $5K worth of electronic crap to make up for it. And effete Americans will line up to buy this junk.

Electronics are dirt cheap to produce for the manufacture , and the profit margins are stupidly high. Think about the cost of a digital watch or T.V.
When we were kids there were TV repair shops , now that is unthinkable because the cost of a new one is so cheap. The tons of electronics in everything is all profit margin driven in my opinion. All you have to do is convince people they " need " the latest feature and you can milk them dry.

It's always " Follow the Money " .

That is absolutely correct. $50 worth of parts is $1,000. And stupid Americans will line up to buy this crap. I used to be in the TV repair business - I wish I could have stayed in it, it was a LOT of fun. Computers used to be fun too, but not so much anymore.

Reminds me of what Regenerative Braking does to people on highways, even when moving at a relatively steady pace the vehicle is constantly trying to get some charge so it will feather the brakes, anybody behind them will see the brake lights constantly going on and off for no reason.

Nuts, I've been dealing with that BS for decades. Friggin' "Blinkies" - I get around them ASAFP. And if anyone's doing that for regen, I've got news for them: Its a net loss.

Maybe since EV's are so " good " for the planet and the climate alarmist's bank accounts , Perpetual Motion is now a reality ....

It’s not the driver it’s the vehicle programmed to it by itself, driver has no control unless they disable regenerative braking.

*some manufactures have gotten around this by having the brake lights not come on while it brakes to regenerate until the very last moment, I think the tesla do this, which really is nuts imo.

Maybe you could've changed your business model to work on phones instead?

Whoever designed THAT bullshit needs to be friggin' SHOT with extreme prejudice. Light regen is like backing off of the throttle, don't turn on the damn brake lights unless the car is really slowing down.

I think a lot of it is indeed driven by the WEF and all its crap, sure. The dictionary definition of "Effete" is "affected and overly refined" - Goddess FORBID that we have to roll our own windows!

That's one of the definitions :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I can solder good old 100 mil through hole parts, and even 50 mil surface mount if I don't have to do a lot of it, but that fine cilia modern stuff ain't happening!
I sometimes solder a 42 gauge wire to a 10 mil wide circuit board trace. Needless to say, I have a microscope for that work. And a very fine soldering iron tip.

I'm telling you guys, my sense of humor is absurdity and in these end times we find ourselves living in, absurdity is everywhere! On one hand it's painful to watch, on the other hand, I love it

That how it is at work these days. The company became so stupid I quit taking it seriously and now just consider it free entertainment.

That’s the way to live. At some point you just have to sit back and laugh at all of it. If people want to continue the march towards our destruction, so be it. At least we’ve got memes!
