Yeah it was 1 per day, lucky I was there all week and made a visit morning and night to my little honey hole. Also got some other goodies. 4 Roses single barrel red label single recipe (2 x all three releases 2025) Knob Creek bourbon/rye blend, Eagle Rare store pick, Evan Williams single barrel, EHT, Caribou Crossing, Elijah Craig Store pick 11 year, and others. 1 for me 1 for my buddy. Should have seen the wife’s face when I was unloading the car. Not impressed at all lol.

I started doing the taters on the grille, too. Rub with butter or oil to crisp the outside, sprinkle salt, then cook until 205 degrees. Takes about 40 minutes on my Traeger.
I would do them on the grille too but Mrs voodooridr makes mean twice baked taters so I just roll with the changes

I'm not a straight up bourbon drinker, I like mine on the rocks. I do try some straight up first, because of reviews. This one was awesome straight up
Then I added ice, and it became a wow!! I plan on picking up another bottle tomorrow if it's still on the shelf. I've come to really like Knob Creek 9 year, Redwood Empire pipe dream, and Nevada's Frey Ranch bourbon.

The secret to straight bourbon is small sips and let it evaporate on your Tongue, if it's still too harsh then a couple drops of water will soften the edges
If you like the Knob Creek 9 track down the 12, then you'll be ready when you stumble across the 18
The Frey Ranch is fantastic stuff, I really wish we could get it up here on the underside of Canadia
My wife bought the Knob Creek 12 for me last year, and I almost prefer the 9 year. Last year I bought a Knob Creek 9 year reserve that was fantastic.
