Car pics too cool not to share

Is your truck from a mining operation? The '35 Chevy that I have is from a local quarry. It is/was some kind of "heavy duty" 1/2 ton. Those old trucks were real work horses, just tractors with the luxury of an enclosure. Speaking of, when is the last time you sat in a modern tractor with cab? Talk about luxury.

As much as I could tell is was from a peach orchard . I have no drivetrain or suspension . The sheet metal shrouds over the frame rails have holes cut in them and I think it had a V-8 swap at some time. The last tractor I was In is a 2005 Kabota M4900 , It was loud , cold and the doors kept popping open bucketing deep snow. It misses the Luxury mark , lol !

The last one I was on was a late '00s Kubota M something non-turbo with cab. That thing had air ride seat, heat and a/c, a radio with satellite connection, and a lever or button to control everything. Sometime around then, they started offering GPS units that could be programmed to drive the tractor back and forth. I bet the newer ones are like driving a Tesla threw the field.

V12, anyone?

This is the GMA T.50s, the latest creation from the mind of Gordon Murray (GMA = Gordon Murray Automotive). For those who aren't aware who Mr. Murray is...

He designed every racing car for the Brabham F1 team from 1973 to 1986, including the BT46 fan car below (note the T.50's fan feature on the rear, an homage to the BT46)

He was involved in the design of the Mclaren F1 MP4/4 and 4/5, cars which notched team Mclaren four consecutive F1 World Driver's and Constructor's championship titles from 1988 to 1991.

The MP4/4, a bad ass car driven (like he stole it, and in the feckin' rain!) by a Brazilian bad ass...

During this time, he was also responsible for developing the concept for this obscure papaya colored beater...the Mclaren F1 (in LM trim).

Good ruling ! , many optioned up muscle and pony cars in the late 60's - early 70's had them .

In some cases I don't mind the vinyl roof... This is not bad looking...

I prefer the squarer lines of the 64-87 Chevelle than the more rounded lines of the 68 & newer

Indeed, though I was rarely a fan of the look (very rarely). As well, from a body mechanic standpoint, I couldn't think of a worse material to apply to a car body and the edge trim was usually held in place with clips and holes through the body panels (as with most trim back then). They were practically begging for rust issues.

I can remember trying to strip the vinyl off a buddies car once.... Talk about a total PITA,....
