Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Ok, having been focused on lightening our rig as much as is feasible, can I plz ask for guidance on the go-to lightweight engine/trans skid for use with our RE long-arm crossmember/belly skid” ? View attachment 598092

When I ran that beast (and it is a beast), I used a Skid Row steel engine skid. You do have to bore some holes to attach it to the RE skid.

Ya its because they add the trac bar mount so then they can get away from a side mounted joint on the frame side and push the trac bar forward a bit. I see the idea but the Currie one solved all those issues so why reinvent the wheel plus I can’t stand the idea of having different clearance issues and now 3 bolts that hold that bracket on and if one loosens you get dw.

Dropped pitman cause stress on the gear shaft, clearance issues, all just their new relationship with RK instead of RJ.

This entire train wreck just looks to me like the new owners bought just Savvy's name, and Gerald doesn't care about his former company's reputation (although, did he ever - really?) I'm glad Klay at Flux came along to save me the time of having to build everything for my build myself. I'd like to one day actually drive my rig again, and my tendency for scope creep is limitless, it seems. Being able to buy good-quality parts that are based on proven designs from a good guy is golden.

The last few days I had a few conversations about the savvy arms and stuff by emailing Gerald and from what he says is the the sales people have a lot of stuff wrong and how they gave me a code that shouldn't even been given out for the TJ stuff only the newer products which is bullshit . Also they have also mentioned that the 6061 8 arm kit will be discontinued for the new 7075 set and tbh I rather have the double adj joints than one end joint or whatever it is .

It keeps getting worst

Almost standing with Metal Cloak advertising by saying 3.5" lift will clear 33-35 tires (37 with high lines). Also weird that the kit has no rear track bar. Not that the price isn't far off once you calculate the cost of the Anti-Rock but the kit sems to undermine everything we have been told about the TJ and its suspension characteristics.
