Did you see my excerpt in the other thread? Average of 2 trails per jeep. In a weeklong event

“You’re the inspiration….”

Sorry I don't know this reference lol. Who is this dude?

LOL. Peter Cetera, lead singer of Chicago. The song was “You’re the Inspiration….” Take it as a compliment.

Haha okay, well then thank you. I like the musical Chicago, not sure about the band

I did moab TJFest in 2021, so It’ll be my first time at an EJS event. I wanted to do a few of their guided runs with RR4W as well as hit the vendor areas on thurs/fri. I’m aware it will be crowded… it’s their 59th yr.

I’ll be there the 2nd half of the week. I used to be a trail leader for the event, but have found that doing our own thing has been more enjoyable in recent years. Using a guide book or an onX type app, you can do most any trail there and get to move at your own pace.

IMHO It’s worth experiencing once, even if a bit congested.

FYI, The entire County and city of Moab make their entire annual budget from the week before - the week after. Translation: Do not violate traffic laws, especially DUI. I got this from the Chief of Police.

Police are always thick in Moab especially for traffic violations.

You should come wheel with us in May

I appreciate the invite but sill on the seach for a TJ, the movers just left yesterday dropping on 4 truck of household goods to our new home. I gave my wife my 2024 JLR-X to trade in on here 2025 Glady. I loved the JLR-X but as far as I was concerned its just a showpiece. I had ever option even the 4:88 gears OEM, wow, but the electronics are mind boggling and I know they get damp and it over Going back to a TJR. Hope to have it by summer. Its not going to be a 7++ trail machine like my 2003 TJR was.
Hope to catch up with you guys I am knocking on the door of 80 and have long since paid my dues in Pritchett Canyon many times over in my days leading runs in Moab. Thank and hopefully I can take rain check...
