Ide to go out a few times with folks but days picked I have plans. Like for this month the 23rd ive had booked in feb were going to pismo

I'd still like to run Signal Peak before the snow hits. Just saying.

Let me know when and I should be able to make it up with you. The last time I went up was with the JL when it was bone stock. It'd be fun to see how much better it is with a lift and tires.

how long does it take to make the loop, taking your time?

Are you referring to Signal Peak? If so a few (3) hours. When we went we went to the top and then came back down the same way. Going down towards the Cisco Grove side from what I understand is basically a dirt road that utility companies use to service the towers etc. up there. Of course time is dependant on how many people in the group, how well their rigs are equipped, and if they want to try every diffcult obstacle or go around. I went with a group and was wondering what was taking so long. Finally got my fat butt out of the jeep walked up and saw the spotter taking everyone over the large rock, some people wanted to try, but had a hard time (independant suspension) when they could have simply went around.

I'd say 3-4 hours assuming you stop at the top. The first half is mild to medium and the back half is a fire road.

Ok thanks. I'll say 4 hours then. Just trying to plan. It's a 3.5 hour drive for me to get to Cisco Grove. Thinking a meet up at the trailhead at 10:10 -10:30 am. Throw a lunch break in the mix and back out by 3pm, which would get me back home before dark.

Unless something has changed over winter in my opipion there was only one really difficult spot. If there was a go-around I missed it. There was one spot with a pretty climb up some rocks. Although the spot was still wet when we went last year which complicated it. Other than that a good train and just depended on which line one wanted to pick. Are the dates for Sept or October?

View from the top. Second pic is the one rough spot, wive’s jeep couldn’t make it up over, so rather then keep trying just winched it up. There is a decent, just really can’t see it. Maybe with the new tires now she might be able to.

That's the same stop the JL struggled over when it was wet.

It hasn't rained since last weekend and has been in the 70's up here so I'd assume the trail is fairly dry.
