What did you do to your TJ today?

Spent some time Saturday evening with them in my cart too. But alas, cooling system and exhaust are probably going to win this standoff...

... probably. 😉

I mean there is this "terrible" company I use for Jeep parts called .... Affirm haha. I use them occaisionally. Sometimes you just don't feel like dropping 1500$ on parts. So i end up paying an extra 100$ over the next 6 months. Call me impatient.....:ROFLMAO:

I was going to drive it to work today, but when I went to start it, it was dead. Dead dead. No clicks, lights or anything. Checked the battery with a meter really quick before I left, 5.something volts. Will have to wait until I’m off Wednesday and Thursday to troubleshoot some more. Battery has seemed a little weak the last couple months, so I suspect it.

Found them - Halibrand kidney bean. Classics

Now that you say it, that name rings a bell (albeit an old tarnished and cracked one). The ribs and raised lip around the holes just makes it.

A dinosaur I must be, because nothing new really tickles my naughty bits in the way something like this does....

Slim hips, 289, bare ally body and those wheels...yes please and twice on Sunday.

I'm a dumb ass. It turns out that I left the A-pillar lights on. I hooked my NOCO jump starter box up, waited for it to show ready, turned the key to run and the buzzer sounded, the air bag and seat belt lights lit up on the dash. Then I noticed the indicator light on for the A-pillar light switch is on. Then I remembered I had them on Saturday checking something, put the covers on them and I guess I got sidetracked and forgot to turn them off. It fired up easy with the first crank.

Hopefully I didn't ruin the battery. Got it on my trickle charger now.

If I had a dollar for every time I left a dome light on I could buy a new battery.

If you do get a MAP gas set up… if it’s liquid it’ll turn loose!…😆

A must-own for the garage mechanic. Watch for what could melt with the heat but it's require if you're working with hand tools in you garage. Cheap at the local HD/Lowe's.

You can use it near melty things if you direct the heat right, too. Be smart before you pull the flame trigger. It'll turn a stuck nut into one that feels hand-tightened. Heat is a powerful tool for the hand tool mechanic. ;)

Went to meet@Hog at our undisclosed meeting location😆-

Had to talk him down from trying to climb into his LJ engine compartment to live out his days.

He has taken this LJ from a low mileage, barely driveable
Jeep to one he can go anywhere in. It shines in power, steering and ride.

We ate a lot. And had a good ol’ time.

Now he has some swell tub rail protectors for his black LJR
