The Bronco rolled

Everything rolls. Run, run away.

The Bronco rolled

I would care about a Bronco.

There was a newer Bronco that flipped on Hell’s a revenge while we were there. It wasn’t even an obstacle. The driver didn’t see a hole and his passenger rear fell into it and flopped on its side. It wasn’t that big a deal, but the airbags deployed and both passengers were bloody and had broken arms. The Bronco was badly damaged.

Those new broncos, everyone thinks they are great because they complete stuff. Yes, they complete obstacles through the power of big tires and lockers. But every time it a super sketchy 3 wheel tilt and drop with huge momentum shifts etc. I think we will see flipped new broncos become very common.

I've seen a good amount of broncos on easier trails or around town and a lot of buggies with bronco panels on hard stuff. Certainly more than 2 years ago.

Today on Pritchett there was one 6th gen raptor bronco. It was his second time running the trail in the last few days and took about an hour on little Rock pile before accepting a pull. I didn't see him on the other obstacles but I imagine with the determination he had, and the crew willing to toss rocks, he made them.

@JMT I noticed you ran Pritchett doorless but not Behind the Rocks. Why the change?

All you need for Pritchett is a Cherokee XJ on 33’s. With rollover action.

Just watched the whole video and that is certifiably insane. The XJ on 33s absolutely kicked the ass of that JK and Bronco on 40s.

I’m amazed how that’s possible with just a regular Rubicon Express 6.5” lift and 33s. 😲

The same obstacles where the other rigs were bouncing all over the place, the XJ just crawled right up them with no negative suspension characteristics I could see. No midarm or shock outboard, just plain old leaf springs. 🤨
