I fear that the younger generation of drivers will learn to take advantage of this "feature", which will lead to unpleasant consequences when they encounter those of us who drive 20+ year old vehicles.

You don't have right of way. Embrace the pit maneuver kid . I don't live in a city.and don't drive that way.but if you swerve over and force a wreck or emergency maneuver you deserve what you get
