This was tacked to the wall of our motorpool back in ‘94-‘97 when I was stationed at Campbell.

This Hits Home for Me. Of the 118 people I was responsible for I was the only one to be seriously wounded and ALL MY TROOPS came HOME to their families.

Americans don't typically wear poppies on November 11 (Veterans Day), which honors all living veterans. Instead, they wear the symbolic red flower on Memorial Day—the last Monday in May—to commemorate the sacrifice of so many men and women who have given their lives fighting for their country.

It never ended, I'll never forget. I think about it everyday. No regrets, no depression, just memories of friends and experiences both good and bad.
